Approach

My work has included integrating systems like Salesforce, marketing automation tools, ecommerce platforms and internal operational systems to automate data flow, reduce manual processes, and support scalable reporting and decision-making. The focus is always stability and scalability — making sure the business can trust the data it uses to decide.

Label printer

A small application running on a headless Raspberry Pi connected to an always-on QR code scanner and a Zebra thermal printer. The user scans a Job Traveler — the same document used to find and clock in to operations for that job. The application resolves the item and part details through a series of API calls, formats a label based on the item’s custom fields, and sends the right number of labels to the printer.

ERP interface

Many of the most common interactions the team had with the ERP were cumbersome in its default interface. Using a range of API endpoints I extracted those interactions into a purpose-built system that makes them faster to complete.

It is built inside our internal WordPress documentation system, with an API proxy service that keeps credentials server-side rather than exposing them to an HTML front end.

Zapier notifications

A Zapier workflow that finds customer order special requests — usually left as notes on an order — and turns them into tickets in the support portal automatically, so agents can respond to them in a ticket-based system instead of discovering them by chance.

Overwatch

When several clients share one ShipStation instance there is no clean way to give each of them access to their own orders without exposing the others. Overwatch is a custom WordPress plugin that connects to ShipStation over its API and lets an administrator assign users to specific stores within the account.

A user can then see all of their orders, update address or status, and push those changes back into ShipStation — without any store or client ever being visible to another.
